From 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 to 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 and now 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, it’s been an incredible ride. I vividly remember picking up 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 for the first time and being absolutely mesmerized by the world Sarah J. Maas created. That book ignited my love for fantasy novels, and the journey since then has been nothing short of magical.

Maas has this uncanny ability to immerse readers into her worlds, making every scene come alive in vivid detail. Her descriptions paint such a clear picture that it feels like you’re right there, a part of the story, experiencing everything alongside the characters. It’s amazing how she can translate each character’s emotions, struggles, and triumphs onto the page, making us feel it all. Whether it’s Aelin’s resilience in 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬, Feyre’s courage in 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬, or Bryce’s determination in 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, Maas’s characters resonate deeply, reminding us of our own capacities to overcome obstacles.

To be honest, until I discovered Sarah’s books, the only series that evoked such strong feelings was 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 by Stephanie Meyer. That series was my gateway into fantasy. I remember being 14 or 15, staying up all night during summer break to devour the entire series. I finished all the books in about a week, utterly engrossed in the love story and the fantasy world. Those books had a unique way of pulling me in, making me feel like I was living in Forks, experiencing the highs and lows of Bella and Edward’s relationship.

Now, Sarah J. Maas has rekindled that same sense of wonder in me. Her books are simply phenomenal. The way she seamlessly blends romance, action, and drama into her narratives is a testament to her storytelling prowess. The intricacies of the political landscapes in her worlds, the depth of her characters, and the unpredictable twists make her books unputdownable. I find myself eagerly turning each page, waiting to see what happens next. And even after finishing her books, they linger in my mind, their stories and characters remaining with me like old friends.

Another author who has come close to Maas’s level for me is Rebecca Yarros with her 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐧 series, which also transported me into a world full of magic, drama, and intrigue. Yarros’s writing style is engaging, and her characters have a depth that makes them feel real. I found myself similarly captivated by her worlds, eager to see how the narratives unfold and how the characters evolve.

Sarah J. Maas and her Maasverse have brought so much joy to my reading journey. Her ability to create such immersive worlds and relatable characters has kept me hooked, book after book. And while I’m thrilled to explore new authors and series, Maas’s works will always hold a special place in my heart.
